Kayaking day trip
We had booked a whole day kayaking tour. The kayaks were very comfy and the whole tour was easy to paddle. Our guide made sure that we had a wonderful day including a picnic with bonfire. The area is truly beautiful especially with the high mountains in the background. We even saw several sea eagles. Would recommend these guys anytime!

Worth Every Penny!
My boyfriend and I had an excellent experience with Mati kayaking around Eggum. We did the midnight sun experience and he spent extra time with us to show us more of the area. He even purchased gluten free snacks for me and we had a little feast on one of the islands. You could tell Mathias was so passionate about what he does. He has a absolutely perfect English and is also fluent in Spanish!

Midnight Sun Kajak Tour
We did a great Kajak Tour with Carlos and Matti To see the midnight sun. Our guides were really great. We can definitely recommend this awesome tour. It was a relaxed time with them. Perfect introduction and we felt really save. Even for newbies in kayaking it is no problem. Thanks again for this great time to Carlos and matti.

Awesome Lofoten Experience
I had booked for two people on a full-day kayak, trek, and rappel outing. Unfortunately the day of the booking was so windy that the kayak portion was cancelled. Carlos was super flexible and offered for us to try again the next day. We were tight on time due to afternoon flights, so we opted for just the trek and rappel the following morning. We are so glad we were able to make it work. Mati was an excellent guide - providing insight into the local area and expertly navigating us up the mountain to experience two rappelling points. The scenery leaves you speechless and were confident we were in good hands with Northern Explorer. The outing proved to be a major highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Northern Explorer to folks visiting the Lofoten area who are looking for a guided adventure. Well done!

Midnight Sun Kayaking AND Full day kayaking and rappelling combo tour
This company is awesome! Their guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are really flexible and they go out of their way to work with you, ensuring your experience is the best it can be. Their service and hospitality is on another level plus the tours themselves are really fun and rewarding. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone else looking for any kind of outdoor adventure while in the Lofoten!

Overnight kayaking and hiking tour
Lovely people and the business is relaxed and super friendly. My sister from Australia and I (from the Netherlands) did an overnight Kayak tour with Mati.
We were extremely lucky with the weather. The sea was like glass. Even-though Mati must have done this trip a dozen times he very much enjoyed guiding this tour and enjoyed nature as it was his first trip. The company is very flexibel and you could ask all favours you would wish. We wanted to camp on a deserted island which was no problem. The hike across the island was beautiful, with great views. Krisztina made us a nice dinner on the island beforehand and home made jam for breakfast from her mum. It all felt like a warm family business with lots of potential. Thank you for giving us great memories of the Lofoten from another perspective. Katinka and Marianne.

Kayaking Lofoten
We met Carlos on an incredible windstill day going out to the little islands in front of the Eggum coastline. The booking by phone the day before had been uncomplicated. no pre-payment required. with us was a couple from Sweden and off we paddled between rocky islands in shallow waters looking out for crabs, giant urchins, possibly otters. After a bit more than an hour we had a little break in front of Carlos's future home on one of the remote islands. We got his favourite: carrots! And tea, cookies, peanuts. Then we stopped for a swim between the islands towing the three kayaks together. these 3 1/2 hours left us with stunning images of the wonderful coastline out west. fun conversations, strong upper arms and the promise to go back there kayaking the northern lights
